The Connection Between Science and Art.

Last week, i had the pleasure of meeting this awesome artist in Esdir (the Art School where I studied a few years ago). I’m a huge fan of Nat Geo, I love to learn about animal and plant kingdom, cultures, expeditions… and of course, I love their pics and drawings. So, this was a very exciting moment for me!

Fernando Baptista is a spanish multi-disciplinary artist working in Washington, and he set an excellent example for me not only as a good profesional (and person), but also more importantly as an insatiable researcher of art methods. He works using different techniques: watercolor, pencil, Photoshop, Illustrator, sculpey… and the results are amazing!

If you click the image, you’ll go to the National Geographic Web, where you can see one of his drawings process. Enjoy!
